    A special Thank You to the comp.virus / VIRUS-L crowd for prompt
and helpful responses to my query about a DOS virus that was plaguing
our systems, and which turned out to be a new beast: EMPIRE.

    Thanks to Dave Chess, Nick Fitzgerald, Rob Slade, and especially
Padgett Peterson.  Without their help, we would not have been able to
identify / understand / remove / defeat (?) this beast as quickly as
we were able to.

   This Internet world never ceases to amaze me!
