Among other things, I learned that, when Write imports a text file, it does random mapping of bytes whose high bit is set. I know how to insert such a character in Word for Windows, but I'm working on a machine that doesn't have that software. Holding down while keying a decimal number does nothing beyond beeping for each keystroke. Preceding the number with a zero doesn't help. Suggestions? -=- Andrew Klossner (uunet!tektronix!frip.WV.TEK!andrew) [UUCP] (andrew%frip.wv.tek.com@relay.cs.net) [ARPA]
