It has to do with HYPERDISK and Windows 3.0. I am using both Qemm 5.11 and HyperDisk 4.20 (using extended memory). All works just fine until I decide to use Windows. Ok, I'll get the Microsoft's ad, then just as the graphics should appear all I see is a flicker, and the screen stays blank. The Windows has started, though. I can exit Windows by using Alt+F4, but I'd really like to see what I do with the Windows. The funniest part of this problem is that if I start Windows in Standard mode (win/s), I invariably get to see the graphics... And in the Real mode the whole Windows seems to crash... Also, when I don't use the HyperDisk, the problem seems to disappear, which leads one to think that the problem and HyperDisk are somehow linked. So, to sum it up, in 386-mode I got Windows, no screen, in Standard I get Windows with screen, but no 386 gimmicks, and in Real-mode I get nothing at all. My hardware is as follows: 16MHz 386SX, 4 M memory, Trident SVGA (512 k), 65 M RLL harddisk I'd appreciate all the tips that might aid me in solving this dilemma.
