Lines: 16 Windows, when run in 386 enhanced mode, uses the file 'system.ini' from which itreads the names of all this bits and pieces it needs for enhanced mode. These are all under the '386enh' entry. For Windows to be telling you this there should be a file specified in this directory matching the one Windows claims it can't find. You say you deleted the contents of the Windows directory. How did ypou do this?Secondly when you install drivers/programs under windows they sometimes add their own drivers to this list. If one of these has gone missing you'll need to install that proggy again. Did you delete they 'system' directory within windows dir? If not you should do.
