For example, the June issue will contain a wrapper for non-Windows C programs that takes over stdio functions like printf and does "the right thing" in Windows (same idea as the WinCrt unit in Turbo Pascal for Windows). The result isn't always pretty, but it's a painless way to get a certain class of C programs up and running with Windows. I am biased; I work for the magazine.
