A somewhat related problem is that DOTDOTDOT, which is defined in
<xview/xv_c_types.h> and used in many of Sun's EXTERN_FUNCTION
prototypes, generates syntax errors in these prototypes under 
ANSI C preprocessors (gnu gcc, Saber-C).
