On behalf of a colleague in my office:

I have compiled X11R4 patch 18 on a Sun 386i with a color graphics monitor.
When I use xinit to start windows on the console I get the message below:

Fatal server bug!
no screens found

and then it aborts.

Does anybody have any idea about solving this problem?
