ok, i'm new to this board and i'm sure the answer is in one 
of the 34000++ postings but i'll just ask.

we currently display weather data (raster, text, vectors) and
are looking for gui capable of using active window resource id
as a canvas and then allow a user to annotation the image.
looking for something generic because we will be looking to
add specific weather symbols, etc... so we need source code.
is there a gold mine of shareware out there for gui's ?  

we don't need to recreate the wheel, so any help would be greatly
appreciated.  thanks, ken mclemore
