There is xcdplayer by rusty@belch.berkeley.edu, available in the X contrib archives, and there's mine, which I call cdplayer, available from 132.206.1.1 in X/cdplayer.shar or by mail from me. Thumbnail sketch of the differences: rusty's is prettier, mine is more featureful. Neither one comes with very much documentation, but the lack is less important in rusty's' case.
