Hi Motif Xperts,

    I am new to Motif world, and i am trying to understand motif widgets
    by writing some test programs and i am using UIL to describe the 
    layouts for the the widgets. I am having some problem using the 
    XmText widget but, I am not sure whether i am doing something wrong
    or it is a bug in the Motif distribution i got.  I am using Motif 1.0
    with X11R4.

Problem Description:

I have a formdialog widget with two XmText widgets as its children.
The above layout is decribed in UIL and fetched at run-time using
MrmFetchWidget. The Cut and Paste operations are not behaving the 
way as I would expect.

Following are the things i am not able to do:

    1. Select a range of text by dragging the Mouse Button 1.

    2. Inserting a selected text in xterm window to one of the
       above XmText widgets using Button 2 click.

    The Manual states that the above two behavior should happen
    by default for a XmText Widget.


Am I missing something here ? Is there anything i have to set in the
translation table to make this work ? Any pointers or ideas to solve this
problem is greatly appriciated.
