The dialog is unmanaged by a SIGUSR1 signal handler function in our application. The signal handler function runs, but occasionally the dialog widget does not unmanage. It seems as if the X event queue ignores or never receives this unmanage event. When we added a second call to unmanage the dialog, it always works. Also we have noticed that the more X applications we have running, the more likely that the dialog will not get unmanaged. Is there anything wrong with causing X events from a signal handling funtion? We use X11R3, motif 1.0, Interactive Unix 2.02.
