When I was hospitalized for my problems (including chronic pain).
They gave me morphine shots ever 4 - 6 hours. I rember craving for
it & it scared me so much after I got out of the hospital, I
stopped getting the shots. THe Morphine worked, but I was like a
zombie in another place. Could do nothing constructive, burnt up my
chest a few time (laying burning cigarettes on it and didn't feel
the pain). Scared me to much to ask for it again.
