Keywords: upgrade Message-ID: <589@racerx.UUCP> Date: 1 May 91 17:20:48 GMT Organization: Bridge Information Systems, St. Louis Lines: 23 I've been following this newsgroup with a varying amount of attention since I brought up B news 2.11 for the first time a few months ago. I am fairly happy with B news, though I've had some problems with it. (And still seem to be having some problems with history files disappearing.) I wonder if I should switch to C news. This may be a FAQ (I do not recall having seen it mentioned), but I wonder what people's feelings are regarding the advantages/disadvantages of B vs. C news. I gather that C news is faster. But since speed is not a big issue with me (less than full feed on a capable system), I am more interested in issues of 1) features, 2) reliabilty, and 3) administration. I imagine that there might be a lot of feedback on this. If any respondents care to mail their experiences/opinions to me, I will summarize for the net. If this is indeed a FAQ, mail your flames, and I will see to it that they are properly disposed of ;-) -- Ken Hardy uunet!racerx!ken Bridge Information Systems ken@racerx.UUCP
