It is long-sleeved with knit cuffs and a small, anorak-style collar, and a zipper opening. It usually hangs down about butt-level. The idea is a shirt that is light, dries quickly and provides a bit of warmth in "cool tropical nights". It's very comfortable; I've worn 2 out... dave
