One of our invited speakers has modified his topic and will talk about a subject that should be of special interest to Arabidopsis groups. Fred Ausubel will talk about his lab's method of genomic subtraction where DNA sequenceces that are missing in a homozygous deletion mutant can be cloned. This should allow many Arabidopsis genes of interest to be cloned if a deletion mutant can be generated. Information about the meeting can be obtained from the secretary (Beverely) at (814)-863-3696. Or if you send me your surface mail address I can have the materials forwarded to you. June Medford jim2@psuvm
