Hello,

I'm considering to purchase a 9600 baud (or greater) modem (preferably internal)
for my pc for downloading files (mostly binaries) from several BBS and nixpub
sites that allow 9600 baud operation.  I know little about modems, so I would
appreciate your recommendations and advice.  Obviously I would like to get one
that will be reliable and not too expensive.  At this time I am using an Everex
2400 baud with MNP-5.  One question that I'd like answered is whether I'll see
much improvement over what I now have.  Also, leads to the least expensive
places to purchase modems would also be appreciated.
