Nor does he analyse the material to the depth of, say, Knuth (a three volume book). But that is not his purpose. Before buying another book i suggest you read the preface to the book carefully. I think Manber states fairly clearly his book's niche. Since he does not misrepresent his purpose i cannot see that you have a case. gregory.
