I am 31 and primarily work with embedded real-time and control systems. I have to work in C on the product, but test equipment and special fixtures the boss lets me do in Forth. I was introduced to Forth working on a realtime command/status monitor system a friend of mine was working on. Being able to change to programming of commands on- the-fly totally blew me away. I started with MVP, worked my way to F83 and finally to F-PC, which I love. I have been a FIG member for the last two years, and recently joined the SIGFORTH of the ACM. Glad to be on board!
