Message-ID: <1991May6.105845.611@arizona.edu> From: jew@rt.sunquest.com (/87336) Date: 6 May 91 10:58:44 MST Distribution: world, local Organization: Sunquest Information Systems Nntp-Posting-Host: rt.sunquest.com Lines: 15 I am trying to compile perl.4.03 under AIX 1.2.1 on a PS/2 model 70. I have noticed that various versions of Configure seem to not function very well under this OS, but I thought I'd post and see if there is a cure. The problem is, that it doesn't do all the nice lookups like it does on all the other systems (including AIX 2.2.1). It just comes back with [] as the default and some of these I have no idea how to fill in, i.e. order of bytes in a long, models supported by the C compiler, etc. Is there something I need to do differently to get Configure to work on this system? jew@sunquest.com Confucious say... God must love the common man: He made so many of them.
