The reason that Frame's EPSF converter runs on the Mac is because the preview section of the EPSF file is a "PICT" resource on the Mac, and it is very difficult to translate on the Sun without the Mac Toolbox. A PICT can have all kinds of components, many of which are easily rendered on the Mac but not so easily interpreted on the Sun. Frame decided to just "draw" the PICT on the Mac and then use the rendered bits to create an EPSI file. The simplest thing for you to do is to get an EPS file without the preview, and import it into Frame on your Sun. You won't see the picture, but it'll print OK. -- Glenn Reid RightBrain Software glenn@heaven.woodside.ca.us NeXT/PostScript developers ..{adobe,next}!heaven!glenn 415-326-2974 (NeXTfax 326-2977)
