McCullough called "Transparent Forwarding : First Steps". This paper shows an extension of the Smalltalk system in order to send messages to objects residing on remote machines. The implementation relies on a structure storage package by Chris Hibbert that linearizes the representation of an object so that it can be sent through a network. Does anybody know if the implementation of transparent forwarding and/or the linearization package is available ? What are the email addresses of the authors ?
