I am running elm2.2 PL16 (never got around to getting 2.3).  As I 
understand the elm 2.2 manual, I can only use the filter program
if I'm running sendmail.  Is this true for elm2.3?  I am on a
3b2-1000 model 80 running UNIX System V Release 3.2.3 
AT&T 3B2.  The underlying mail transport handler is upas.  Thanks.
