If I edit the aliases.text file I can use synonyms for an alias, e.g. joe, smith, dude = Joe Smith = jsmi@bigvax.school.edu But if I'm in Elm, call up the alias menu, and use "m" to make an alias, if I try to enter anything with a comma in the alias field I get a "bad character" error message. Am I right that alias synonyms can only be entred by editing aliases.text directly? If so, might it be possible to alter the make-alias function to allow for synonyms? -- +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | David Sewell, English Dep't, University of Rochester, New York USA | | dsew@cc.rochester.edu || dsew%cc.rochester.edu@uorvm.BITNET | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+
