Keywords: Steinberg Pro 24 Cubase Message-ID: <2391@cluster.cs.su.oz.au> Date: 7 May 91 04:20:44 GMT Organization: Dept. of Comp. Science, Uni of Sydney, Australia Lines: 12 I'm currently using Cubase 2.0 on an Atari, and have some older pieces that were put together with Pro 24 on an Atari. The Cubase manual claims that Pro 24 files can be converted in Cubase. The pieces use SMPTE and can be successfully read into Cubase as Pro 24 songs, but when the Pro 24->Cubase conversion is run, the conversion of the tempi ends up not holding sync with the taped tracks. The tempo conversions are consistent, so I'm wondering whether Steinberg just got the conversion wrong, or whether I'm missing something in the procedure. Has anyone successfully converted Pro 24 files with SMPTE and tempo changes to Cubase? Greg Ryan gregr@cs.su.oz.au
