It only lets you type (via your computer keyboard) or enter (via a mouse) notes on staffs. It also lets you score standard midi files. 1) It does not let you convert the little black notes to MIDI, 2) The standard graphics are poor on both dot matrix and laser printers. There are some extra programs you can buy for $40 each. One program will crudely convert dots to MIDI, but all it handles are notes and durations; it doesn't handle volume, tied notes, dotted notes, blah, blah. Another extra program lets you get higher resolution graphics, but I wouldn't bother. Don't comment on this program unless you've used it.
