I also have some complaints about the little News Bits articles in the front. This month, we got a brief description of Unicode, a 16-bit character standard. This is fine, but it was written for a complete computer neophyte. I seem to recall the description as "a sequence of 16 zero and one values". Come on! Ever hear of the word "bit"?
