I don't remember the full details (I can upload them here if desired), but he monitered the communications with a second computer to confirm that personal data was being uploaded by prodigy from the hard drive even running off the floppy. (I may not remember all the details, but he did make sure there was no way prodigy could get the data without going out to his HD to get it.) -- A good bureaucracy is the best tool of oppression ever invented.
