ENV 41201 says the session standards to be conformant with are ISO 8326 (services) and ISO 8327 (protocol), but no reference is made to ISO 8326 DAD1 and ISO 8327 DAD2 which imply session version 2. It is important to emphasize that a session V2 non downgrading to session V1 doesn't interoperate with a session V1. Furthermore the new final draft of EWOS-ETSI MHS '88 A3311 functional standard explicitly says the supported session is session V2 even when supporting the downgrading to '84 functional group; this could then imply interoperability problem if the '84 implementation runs over a session V2.
