Here are the systems that support the SEND and friends command:
	TOPS-20
	Multics
	FTP Software
	Symbolics lisp machine
	TGV's Multinet for VMS
	Some people sent me pointers to patched sendmails

however, most preduction unix systems don't support it.  Many thanks
to all those who replied.
