I think your speculation is probably accurate, especially since no price has yet been announced for the A3000T. I've owned an A3000 for nearly a year, and with the "T" expected to sell for a fair bit more than the original, I'd still buy the A3000. The T's two extra IBM slots are meaningless to me, and there's only one more Zorro III slot. The extra drive space is nice, but I've already got a stack of 5.25" drives in external cases filling up a corner of the room.
