Message-ID: <1991May4.030943.20676@rodan.acs.syr.edu> Date: 4 May 91 08:53:17 GMT Distribution: na Organization: Syracuse University Lines: 10 Is there a 9600 baud standard? I see all this stuff about V.32 and V.this and V.that. If I buy a 9600 baud modem....can I call any other modem? I've got a 2400 baud....and I used to think that was fast.....but now...I think I really need to get something faster. So what's the deal? Thanks, acyoung@sunrise.acs.syr.edu
