Message-ID: <53045@nigel.ee.udel.edu> Date: 8 May 91 20:41:17 GMT Sender: mmdf@ee.udel.edu Lines: 27 I need some advice from peoples who are using a Chinon FZ 354 drive as an amiga drive. I want to add one as an external drive to my A500. I tried to replace my internal drive by the Chinon, and it worked, but without disk change. I think I have to configure the driver's jumpers properly. What is the correct configuration? The jumpers I found on the back of the drive are: DS2... ....DS3 . . ....MD . . . ....RDY . . . . o-o-o o-o o o ! ! !...TTL/CMOS o-o-o o o-o o . . . . . . . ...DC . . ....MM DS1... ....DS0 The default configuration who came in the drive are DS1,MM,DC,TTL. If someone could give me an explanation about each one, I would be very happy. * Gelson Dias Santos * Bitnet/Internet: GELSON@SBU.UFRGS.ANRS.BR * * Porto Alegre - RS * Sorry, english is not my native language! * * BRAZIL * (Alguem fala portugues?) *
