My understanding is that the ST will read ID numbers from the lowest one to
the highest, and it doesn't matter if some are skipped. The TT reads from 0
up in SEQUENTIAL order. If you skip a number the others are invisible. If
your TT doesn't have an internal HD then the ID 1 drive would act as you
described and changing it to 0 would be the fix. Does this make sense or
am I all wet? (I don't have a TT so I don't know if the manual says this. I
picked it up somewhere, on GEnie maybe.)
