Just a couple of comments/questions... > Do you want a bulletin board that has only the MOST valuable informatio >coming from Usenet, CompuServe, and GEnie? Not a flame, just a caution... be careful about extracting information from commercial online services... while they don't like to make an issue of it, they DO claim a compilation copyright on the contents of the service. If you read the fine-print in the membership application, you'll see that they generally prohibit the reposting of information without express permission, generally on a case-by-case basis. The recent flap in the GEnie ST Roundtable over extracting portions of messages is a case in point. They're in business to make money from the information on their service, and they'd naturally rather have the people come to them and pay for it. >A person who does not call Compuserve or GEnie >but writes reviews for products can trade his reviews for their Compuserve >and GEnie information. Everyone benefits by joining the 16/32-bit >Computer Support Team. A question... would you be willing to let your reviews be re-posted to GEnie or CompuServe..? BobR
