Keywords: gcc, mint, minix Message-ID: <1991May8.102921.6575@cs.nott.ac.uk> Date: 8 May 91 10:29:21 GMT Sender: dpg@Cs.Nott.AC.UK Organization: Nottingham University Lines: 19 About a week ago, I upgraded my version of MiNT from 0.7.1 to 0.8, and was delighted to find 'minit' in the utility distribution. I duly backed up my HD, re-partitioned it with a small (8 meg) Minix partition, and restored everything (putting MGR on the Minix partition). Then I came to move my working directory onto the Minix partition, and, horror! I discovered that GCC parses all the filenames into UPPERCASE. Is there anything I can do about this, short of getting all the source for gcc 1.39 and fixing it myself? I had hoped to get on with installing TeX, but I'd really like to fix this first. Can anyone out there help me? -- /* 'Grave' Dave Gymer --------- Internet: dpg@Cs.Nott.AC.UK *\ +* 42 St Marys Park, Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 0EF, England *+ +* Olivier's Law: "Experience is something you don't get *+ \*-------------------------- until just after you need it." */
