   If you change the connector, a C128 power supply will do fine on a C64 (in 
fact, the power supply that came with the 1764 REU was just a C128 supply 
with a connector that fit the C64).

   However, I don't suggest running two computers from the same power supply 
because you'll get some interesting relative voltages caused by internal 
recification and regulation of the AC signal.  If you turn off one computer 
but no the other, you may see interesting patterns on the screen because of 
the signal fed back to the regulators that power the VIC chip.
