I've managed to get my Portfolio serial interface working with decent file
file xfers with a Sun SPARCstation SLC.  

This involves a special version of tip, as well as an external xmodem
program.  It involves a couple of tricks; if anyone is interested in the
details, email me, and I will post them.

If someone could post a version of update.com, I'd be much obliged.
This is the OS patch from Atari, which (among other things, I think)
fixes the editor crashing bug in DIP BIOS 1.072.
