I missed the original post.  HP-UX comes with a utility called infocmp.
It can do everything you could ever want to a terminfo entry.  If you
do much work with terminfo entries, you should check it out.  Among its
many capabilities is the ability to translate terminfo back to termcap.

Just in case the original poster has a hp300h terminal but no hp system:
