Hi,
	I'm trying to use MS Word 4.0 to do my thesis, but whenever I use its
ability to do square roots in the text the bar over the top doesn't connect
with the rest of the radical.  There is a small space that I need to get rid
of.  The graduate office will not accept it this way and I really don't feel
like going over the whole thing with an ink pen to touch-up.  I would really
appreciate any help.  THANKS!!!
