The drive (never before used) will work only on 2 out of 10 SEs and won't work at all on our SE/30s or IIcx. On the Machines it doesn't work with, it will not recognize a formated disk or can it format a disk. It works like a charm on the two SEs. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHY THIS IS HAPPING???????? We can't come up with anything in the Lab and I am ready to throw this drive out the window since the warranty is now null. (please no flames about why I never tested the drive before now) I would appreciate any info. ------ken "What do you mean we ran out of gas?" ______-==-______ ____-------=----------------=-------____ ________________ _ _- --------________________-------- (______________(_||_) _______ / /_____/_____ _- Capt Ken Haynes \__________- CO, USS L'Hopital Taylor Series Class Starship NCC-x^ln(1701) United Federation of Calculus Haters haynes@unssun.unr.edu or haynes@tahoe.unr.edu
