I use it to interface between my SE/30 and the Olympia LaserStar 6 laser printer I own. It works well (and even Sys7.0 compatible w/ some prelim tests done on friend's ][fx). BUT I am using system 6.0.7 and the grappler software along with ATM and TypeAlign. This is where the problem is--- when I combine a TypeAlign document (cut and pasted into any DTP-type program or Word processor that takes graphics) and a bit-mapped graphics (either 72dpi or higher) then when the final document prints out, the TypeAlign portion of the document is all messed up. I called Orange Micro and they have nothing to say so far about this problem. If I print out the TypeAlign document part all by itself the problem does not occur--- it only happens when I print a TypeAligh image combined with a regular bit-mapped image.... the typealign part messes up on the printout. I am using an Image Writer II LQ printer driver for System 6.0.7. If you have any suggestions to help me with this problem please e-mail via reply or e-mail me at ron.bbs@shark.cs.fau.edu I would appreciate it very much!!! ================================= Mail me ron.bbs@shark.cs.fau.edu =================================
