You want to know why you shouldn't buy a used Plus instead of a Classic or an SE? While reading this thread you've come on to two other threads in this very newsgroup... one with video problems on a Plus, and one with power supply problems on a Plus. The Plus has a lontg history of frying video cards and power supplies! In our public lab here, we go through one or the other on a twice-a-week basis! Our SE in the operators' room is on nearly 24 hrs/day, and in the year I've worked here it's died once... for a floppy-drive problem (bad eject mechanism). The Plus is also slightly slower, runs much hotter (less efficient power supply and no fan), and is discontinued. (Yeah, the SE's a goner too, but the Classic is a new model). You get an ADB mouse (IMHO much more comfortable than a Plus Mouse) with either the SE or the Classic. You have the option of an internal HD. With a Classic you get a one-year warranty. I think that's all the reasons I can think of... either way, it's still an impressive list. maybe it'll end the argument/discussion on this thread (yeah, that'll be the day!)
