Lines: 18 My Plus had some display problems, not the kind you're talking about but still annoying. It turned out that whoever assembled the analog circuit board had left L*O*T*S of component leads too long; they bent over and shorted occasionally against adjacent foils. The cure for me was to open up the Mac and trim any lead that looked suspicious. I have no idea whether this will fix your problem, but it's worth doing. #ifdef GRIPE_MODE If it works, it beats the "it needs another analog board" repair style that Apple seems to have adopted.
