I have found that it will not print Type1 fonts created with Fontographer 3.1. Instead, it fails with an "illegal font" error (as detected with Adobe's error-handler code). Has anyone else seen this? Is there any solution? If this will not work, I will probably send the printer back as it is advertised as being equivalent to the Apple LaserWriter IINT (these fonts work fine with a IINT(X)). Other, possibly relevant info: System 6.0.5, HP LaserJet III driver (based upon LW 6.0), failure mode persists with LW 6.0 and 5.2 drivers. Type3 versions of the same fonts work OK. Since I am an HP employee, my support questions get put on the bottom of the stack, but I was encouraged to take this problem to the net. Thanks for any help in advance, Kurt Andersen kurt@hpsdid.sdd.hp.com
