On the Apple II SCSI card you can set the ID# of the CPU. So all you need to do is set the SCSI ID# on the HD and IIgs to something different than 7 and partition the hard drive. with the first physical partion being a ProDos partion and the other a Mac partion. I did this for over a year when I had a BBS running on a IIgs and did work on my Mac. The software I used to partion the drive was SilverLining.
