Summary: have talk will talk Keywords: unix talk Message-ID: <1991May7.193919.4462@dartvax.dartmouth.edu> Date: 7 May 91 19:39:19 GMT Sender: kurash@gile.dartmouth.edu Followup-To: kurash@gile.dartmouth.edu Organization: Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH Lines: 20 I remember seeing a post or two about talk (ala Unix) for the Mac. Well, a while ago I wrote a talk-like program based on KSP (which Dartmouth College's stream protocol). Recently, I 'ported' the code to ADSP so that it would be more accessible to those without contacts at Dartmouth. This program (I call it "Yammer", but I would like to change that) is written as an application, and is pretty stripped down. No fancy features, just the basics. I started to transform it into an INIT-based Desk Accessory, but ran out of time half way through the process. If you are interested, just tell me. I don't really know how one posts binaries, or sends them over e-mail, and I don't have any way to ftp (that might change if I can get some friends at Dartmouth to help out, and if there is any interest). Ya, it's free. Mark.
