Keywords: backup, hardware Message-ID: <34111@mimsy.umd.edu> Date: 7 May 91 14:09:46 GMT Sender: news@mimsy.umd.edu Organization: U of MD, Computer Science Dept, Coll. Pk., MD 20742 Lines: 10 I need to do regular backups of a NeXTstation with a 400MB disk, and floppies are not the answer (DUMP requires over 162 1.44 floppy disks just to do the first level 0 backup. I know I could reduce this amount by using COMPRESS and 2.88 floppies, but still...) What I want to know is what hardware are people using for their backups: DATs, removable disks, ODs?? All relevant info would be appreciate: company name, address, phone; product price, speed, reliability; your comments, suggestions, etc. Thanks in advance, -Eduardo Ostertag (ostertag@cs.umd.edu)
