I'd like to be able to get paragraphs to come out with a shaded
background.  I'm using TeX 3.1 and dvips 5.47.  I used to do this with
an older version of TeX and a locally hacked dvips, but I haven't yet
figured out how to do this with the newer stuff.  Anybody else
accomplish this?  Thanks.

p.s. It would be REAL nice if the solution allowed the paragraphs to
survive page breaks.  Failing that, I suppose the paragraphs can be
completely forced to the next page.
