I want to get a tape drive on my DOS machine that will allow me to
exchange tapes with our SPARCs (provided I stay within the 8.3
character DOS filename convention, of course). The MKS toolkit only
supports making tar format files, not tapes. Does anyone know of a
software / hardware combination that reads and writes UNIX tar format
30 or 150 Mb QIC tapes on an MSDOS machine? Please email me and I will
summarize to the net. Thanks!
