My problem is that I need them to be. I can think of a couple of ways to transfer a lock from the parent process to the child process for my particular application, but all of them are a little more complicated than I'd like. Does anyone know of a simple, generic way to transfer locks from parent to child? -- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Anthony F.
